Project Director
Niall Walshe

Description: Niall Walshe is pictured here, at a recent meeting in Kampala with Bishop David Sebuhinja of the Church of Uganda.
Following his earlier career as a commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force, Niall has spent over twenty years working with the underprivileged and those on the fringes of society. Niall set up and managed for thirteen years a project in central London providing residential and non-residential support for young homeless people . He then spent eight years running his own company supporting high school pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Since 2006 Niall has been a member of Devon and Cornwall Constabulary with an area of responsibility that, combining his previous experiences, includes a troubled housing area and two local schools.
Operation Fullness of Life will involve Niall giving up both his work and life in the UK to go to Uganda to live within the rural community, experiencing their hardships - including no running water or electricity - on a daily basis.
Operations Manager
Robin Walshe

Description: Robin Walshe on a recent fact finding trip to Uganda
Robin Walshe was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where his parents were the third generation of his family to be involved in farming and agriculture. This has given Robin a valuable insight into the cultivation of different crops – from the staple grain maize, to the cash crop tobacco – and animal husbandry, including cattle and chicken farming.
Robin’s family has also been involved in humanitarian work throughout Africa. Some members of his family currently manage an AIDS orphanage in Zimbabwe, whilst other members have been heavily involved in flying relief operations for the Red Cross, evacuating refugees during the Rwandan genocide and other regional conflicts in central Africa.
With his roots in Africa, and his knowledge of farming, agriculture and humanitarian work on that continent, Robin is well equipped to play a key role in Uganda in the work of Operation Fullness of Life.
